Key Ingredient: Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12)
Methylcobalamin, an active form of vitamin B12, plays a crucial role in several metabolic processes that are essential for weight loss and overall health:
- Energy Metabolism: Vitamin B12 is essential for converting carbohydrates into glucose, which fuels our body's energy production. By enhancing energy metabolism, Methylcobalamin helps boost energy levels, combat fatigue, and support physical activity, facilitating weight loss efforts.
- Fat Metabolism: Methylcobalamin aids in the breakdown of fatty acids and cholesterol, promoting the metabolism of fats for energy production. By supporting fat metabolism, vitamin B12 helps prevent the accumulation of excess fat and promotes weight loss.
- Nervous System Function: Vitamin B12 is vital for the health and function of the nervous system. It plays a role in the production of myelin, a protective sheath that surrounds nerve fibers and facilitates nerve impulse transmission. By supporting nervous system function, Methylcobalamin helps maintain optimal neurological health and supports overall well-being.
Benefits of Methylcobalamin B12 Injections
- Increased Energy Levels: Methylcobalamin B12 injections provide a natural energy boost, helping you stay active and alert throughout the day. By enhancing energy levels, B12 injections support physical activity and promote calorie burning, facilitating weight loss.
- Enhanced Metabolism: Vitamin B12 plays a key role in metabolism, including the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. By promoting efficient metabolism, Methylcobalamin B12 injections support weight loss by optimizing calorie utilization and fat metabolism.
- Improved Mood and Mental Clarity: Vitamin B12 is essential for brain health and cognitive function. Methylcobalamin B12 injections can help improve mood, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity, supporting overall well-being during your weight loss journey.
Conditions Associated with Weight Loss

Frequently Asked Questions about B12 Injections Program
Why should I take B12 Injections?
B12 injections offer a range of benefits beyond addressing vitamin B12 deficiency, including reducing the risk of associated complications, aiding in weight loss, and addressing hair loss concerns. These injections can help prevent conditions like heart disease, vision loss, neurocognitive disorders, peripheral neuropathy, and infertility, among others. Methylcobalamin, a form of B12, is particularly essential for synthesizing neuronal lipids, regenerating axonal nerves, and exerting neuroprotective effects, potentially improving conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinsonism, and dementia, while also serving as an approved treatment for peripheral neuropathy.
Furthermore, B12 injections play a vital role in treating nutrition-based diseases, facilitating nerve regeneration, and providing neuronal protection. They have demonstrated efficacy in alleviating pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, neuralgia, and low back pain, as well as promoting nerve conduction, making them beneficial for a variety of neurological and pain-related conditions.
What type of B12 is this?
The B12 you receive unless otherwise requested will be Methylcobalamin.
What is the Difference between Cyanocobalamin and Methylcobalamin?
Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic form of vitamin B12 found only in supplements, while Methylcobalamin is a naturally occurring form that you can get through either food sources or supplements.
What comes with the B12 injections program?
Upon joining our program, you'll start with a comprehensive consultation with one of our esteemed telemedicine physicians from our trusted network. You will receive a tailored prescription treatment plan that includes all essential injection supplies, like syringes, needles, and alcohol prep pads. Additionally, we offer educational resources to enhance your understanding and support your progress throughout the program.
How do I use this program?
For optimal results, the recommended dosage of B12 typically involves injections of 1 ml, 2-3 times weekly, as advised by our physicians. However, please note that your specific dosage and frequency may vary based on individual factors such as your health condition, desired goals, and individual response to treatment. It's essential to consult with your physician, who will tailor the regimen to best suit your needs and maximize effectiveness.
My B12 came as a powder with vials of water, what do I do?
This means your medication came lyophilized and needs to be mixed. Don’t worry, this is an easy process and the pharmacy sends all the tools needed for you to properly mix your medication. Fill the mixing syringe with 10mL of Bacteriostatic sterile water
Inject the 10mL of sterile water into the smaller vial of lyophilized B12. (Roll the vial between your hands gently to mix, do not shake! Now your medication is ready to be injected.
B12: Why is my urine red? Is there dye in this?
The four forms (vitamins) of B12 are all deeply red colored crystals and water solutions, due to the color of the cobalt-corrin complex (biologically relevant enzyme, it is the "core" of vitamin B12). A change in urine color occasionally happens if the shot you've received contains more B12 than what your body can utilize and store at that time. These nutrients are water-soluble, so the excess leaves your body through urine.
What are the side effects of B12 injections?
- Injection Site Reactions: Mild pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site may occur, but these symptoms typically resolve quickly.
- Allergic Reactions: While uncommon, some individuals may experience allergic reactions to the injection, which can include itching, rash, or difficulty breathing. Immediate medical attention is necessary if these symptoms occur.
- Nausea or Upset Stomach: Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, although these side effects are rare.
- Headache: Headaches are a possible side effect of B12 injections, although they are typically mild and transient.
- Dizziness or Lightheadedness: In rare cases, individuals may experience dizziness or lightheadedness after receiving a B12 injection.
- Hypokalemia: In extremely rare cases, B12 injections may lead to low potassium levels in the blood, known as hypokalemia. This side effect may cause symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, muscle cramps, or irregular heartbeat.
It's important to note that these side effects are uncommon, and most people tolerate B12 Methylcobalamin Injections well. However, individuals should consult with their healthcare provider if they experience any unusual or persistent symptoms after receiving B12 injections.
What's the proper way to get rid of the needles and vial after use?
After you've finished with your injections, make sure to dispose of any used items, like the empty vial and needles. Be careful when disposing of needles to avoid any accidents. Ensure they're fully inside the bin and not sticking out. Once the sharps bin is full, research your local rules on how to dispose. A lot of times this can be done through your local pharmacy. To properly dispose of empty vials, ensure they are completely sealed to prevent any leaking. Place the empty vials and bottles into your household trash. If you want to conceal the label information, use a wide permanent marker or pen to cover your personal information.
