Understanding the Program

This program includes two separately dispensed medications:

• Glutathione is an antioxidant naturally produced by the body and involved in normal cellular processes.
• Methylcobalamin B12 is a form of vitamin B12, an essential nutrient involved in normal red blood cell formation and nervous-system function.

These medications must be administered only according to the instructions provided by your prescriber and dispensing pharmacy. They should not be mixed or combined in the same syringe unless specifically directed by both your prescriber and pharmacist.

Important Information About Alcohol

No injection can guarantee the prevention or elimination of a hangover. This program does not:

• Make excessive alcohol consumption safe
• Lower blood-alcohol concentration
• Prevent intoxication or impaired judgment
• Treat dehydration or alcohol poisoning
• Protect against liver damage or other consequences of alcohol use
• Make it safe to drive after drinking

The most reliable ways to reduce alcohol-related symptoms and risks are to limit alcohol consumption, drink water, eat appropriately and avoid driving or operating equipment after drinking.

Seek emergency medical assistance if someone experiences confusion, repeated vomiting, seizures, slowed or irregular breathing, pale or blue-tinged skin, loss of consciousness or difficulty waking after consuming alcohol.

Side effects vary by patient and medication formulation. Potential effects may include:

• Redness, swelling, discomfort or irritation at the injection site
• Nausea or stomach discomfort
• Headache
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Fatigue
• Rash, itching or other allergic reactions
