What is Pregnyl hCG?
Pregnyl hCG is a hormone that is naturally produced during pregnancy. When used in combination with a calorie-restricted diet, HCG injections have been shown to promote weight loss by targeting stored fat reserves, suppressing appetite, and enhancing metabolism.

Frequently Asked Questions about hCG Program
How do I get started with the hCG program?
Please Click HERE to find out more information about Invyncible's process.
What is hCG?
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin or hCG, is a hormone known for playing different roles in male and female sexual development. In women, it affects ovulation and fertility. In men, it has been known to increase testosterone levels. In considerably smaller amounts, it is used in weight loss programs, like the one created by Doctor A. T. W. Simeons.
Which are the differences between the hCG Program and the Semaglutide Program?
hCG | Semaglutide |
---|---|
Strict 500 calorie Diet Required (VLCD) | No Strict Diet Required |
Daily injections | Once weekly injections |
Reported losses of 10-20lbs monthly | Reported losses of 5-7lbs monthly |
Who is the hCG Diet Best Suited for?
Generally speaking, an otherwise healthy adult man or woman with a high BMI (body mass index) and the need to lose weight are ideal candidates. Patients with certain medical conditions including pregnancy may not be approved for hCG injections or the hCG diet.
How do I use the hCG?
hCG is a sub-cutaneous injection. Please click here to visit our instructions page on how to administer a subcutaneous injection.
What is the dosage for hCG?
During your consultation with one of our positions you will be given your regimen for your hCG program. The hCG Pregnyl program is a 60 day program. Due to the unavailability of hCG, this is the only hCG program we are offering. We do not have the 28 day program anymore.
Side Effects of hCG and the hCG Diet
The most common side effects experienced by patients on hCG diet are hunger and reduced energy due to the low calorie intake. While the hCG diet is designed to maintain muscle while reducing fat, the reduced calories can affect energy levels. You may be advised by our doctor to reduce your physical activity or fitness regime during the calorie restriction phase of the hCG program.
Is injectable hCG safe?
Our doctors evaluate all patients and health information must be provided through completion of a medical questionnaire and telemedical consultation. Invyncible recommends that you consult your physician prior to beginning any diet. Refer to our diet instructions and medical questionnaire, but also consult your own physician for information.
The programs and products offered by Invyncible include a very low dose daily hCG injection. The injection site is subcutaneous (beneath the skin). Full instructions are provided and the kits include all syringes, alcohol pads and prep supplies for your hCG shot.
Why not just go on a 500 calorie per day diet and not do any hCG injections?
hCG is believed to mobilize the unnecessary fat that is stored deep in the body and to safeguard essential fat. Conversely, a 500 calorie a day diet puts your metabolism into starvation mode, rendering it unable to identify what kinds of fat to mobilize. In effect, vital fat critical to a healthy human will be mobilized. This puts vital organs, vessels and the brain at risk.
Additionally, a recent independent study showed that two groups (one on hCG daily injections and one not on hCG) participating in a low-calorie diet both lost 15 pounds on average in a month. However, after measuring muscle loss the non-hCG group lost 5 pounds of muscle on average and the hCG group only lost 2 pounds of muscle. The more muscle a person carries, the easier it is to continue to burn calories at rest, thus ensuring an easier transition when off the hCG diet plan.
What is controversial about low calorie diets, using hCG injections?
In the 1970s, the FDA stated that when hCG was combined with a diet very low in calories, there were no convincing results when compared to the diet alone. That statement is now rejected by current specialists, noting "it’s not the weight that is important, but the fat loss." Remember that initially, when there is fat loss weight may not decrease proportionately. The remaining fat stores are redistributed throughout your body. When your fat “equilibrium” is reestablished, you begin to see the results of your hard work on the scale and in front of the mirror.
How much can I lose with hCG?
When combined with the Dr. Simeon diet and reasonable exercise, injections of hCG can result in dramatic weight loss of 0.5-2lbs per day.
Can I exercise while on the hCG diet?
Yes, exercise is fine, but it’s important to be aware of the limits of your body. 500 calories per day limits the body by decreasing the extra energy that food provides. If you intend to exercise while on the program, we recommend adding 200 calories to your food intake right before exercise (i.e. a protein shake).
Most importantly, listen to your body and stop or scale back exercise if exhaustion occurs. A good amount of exercise for most people on this program is 25-30 minutes of daily walking.
How do I prevent gaining the weight back after the diet is over?
Learning your body’s response to the program and understanding the basic principles of this diet will help. As with all weight loss programs, a healthy lifestyle including regular exercise is the key to keeping the weight off. Remember, this diet is not just for the quantitative loss of unwanted fat and weight. This diet, if done properly, is designed to change your metabolism by changing your knowledge about fat loss, weight loss and healthy eating habits in general.
What are some important things to remember while on the hCG Program?
Drink plenty of water. At least 8 to 10 glasses of water (8 oz) should be consumed every day while on this diet.
While on the hCG program, vitamin replacement is essential. A good B-complex vitamin injection should be sufficient, however one must remember that potassium can be lost quickly, and muscle cramps may occur, indicating supplemental Vitamin K may be needed. One should consult his or her physician prior to taking vitamin K.
Consult your physician prior to starting any weight loss program. Some people do not respond well to the reduced calories and it is critical that you fully understand this diet prior to commencing. If you have any questions, consult your physician. For best results, be sure to keep an eye out for any extreme symptoms such as exhaustion, headaches, nausea, vomiting or dizziness. Any extreme symptoms must be discussed with a physician immediately.
Alcohol consumption is not recommended.
